A new application for all Apple devices is being launched that will appeal to Ghazal fans all over the world. This is a joint effort between Steve Jobs and ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh operating from their new residence in the Clouds. Ghazal is a form of music that lays equal emphasis on the lyrics and the music. The new application will allow users to switch between listening and composing modes. In the 'listening mode' users can simutaneoulsy view the transliteration of the lyrics in English along with a translation in a language of their choice - as the song is played on the Apple device.  The 'composing mode' provides widgets that will help lyricists in writing songs and composers in setting lyrics (imported or created) to tune.

Highly sophisticated, the application should be available very soon as both Jobs and Singh have admitted to dedicate their entire time on the development and launch of this application. Usually, Apple applications are not something that Steve Jobs works on, but he is stated to have made an exception in this case considering the proximity of the ghazal maestro  and the ample time they have at their new residence.
